New England Law Careers

Starting in late August and throughout the year, Career Services hosts on-campus interviews for employers interested in our students. On-campus interviews provide an excellent opportunity to meet and identify individuals whose academic achievements, legal interests, and practical skills are compatible with your organization. If you are unable or unwilling to conduct on-campus job interviews, we may collect resumes and forward them to you or apply to interested students directly with you. If you are considering hiring an unpaid intern, make sure you know the requirements. Click here to view the U.S. Department of Labor`s fact sheet on unpaid internships. Statement of Non-Discrimination: Western New England University School of Law`s career services facilities and resources are only available to employers who do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ethnic origin, sex, sex (including gender identity and expression), age, disability, sexual orientation or veteran status. Throughout the academic year, Career Services organizes various employer panels and information sessions to help our students understand the expectations and requirements of the various legal professions. One-on-one briefings provide a more intimate setting and provide an opportunity to talk specifically about your organization and interact with participants on a more personal level. The Career Services office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and Wednesday until 18:00 by appointment, while the spring and autumn semesters are in session. Daylight saving hours (after Memorial Day until mid-August) are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Appointments are available in person, by phone or via Zoom.
